If you encounter an issue with the OS such as a function not working as expected or a complete frozen system, you may need to perform a soft reset. This process reboots the system without losing any settings.
Note you can also do a hard reset, which takes the car back to factory defaults and wipes all data and settings.
To perform the soft reset, make sure you are parked safely and in Park "P" mode. Then press and hold the leftmost and rightmost buttons on the steering wheel for 10-15 seconds:
It’s easy to accidentally press the middle buttons, be sure to actually press left and right by pushing outwards.
If successful you should see all the screens turn off, when they turn back on within a few seconds the Yellow Lotus Welcome sequence will begin.
